We are pleased to inform you that the first newsletter of the SISTERS – FoStering gender and LGBTIQ+ equity In Sports through an inTERSectional approach has been published! Running from February 2025 to July 2027, the SISTERS, funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme, brings together 6 experienced partners from Cyprus, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Bulgaria, and Bosnia & Herzegovina to foster equity in sport for women and LGBTQIA+ individuals, through intersectional approaches.

The project aims to address gender- and SOGIESC-based discrimination (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, and Sex Characteristics) by empowering coaches, athletes, and institutions to build more inclusive and respectful sport environments.
