@nclusion project: Call for participation in a training and awareness-raising seminar for employees of local authorities

Symplexis invites you to participate in a training and awareness-raising seminar for employees o local authorities in the framework of the European project @nclusion – Fostering inclusion of LGBTQI+ migrants at local level with the aim of raising awareness and expertise among local authorities/policy makers about the challenges faced by LGBTQI+ people with a migrant or refugee background, as well as existing good and bad practices of inclusion.

The seminar -free of charge- is addressed to:

  1. Professionals working in local authorities
  2. External partners
  3. Volunteers
  4. Members of local authority organizations

The training seminar in Greek language will take place between the end of October and mid-November, will last three days and will last a total of 12 hours (4 hours per day on days to be determined based on the availability of participants).

The @nclusion project comes to trigger change in the way local integration plans are developed and implemented by promoting the synergy of local authorities with migrants’ organisations and communities and LGBTQI+ organisations and other relevant CSOs for the co-design and implementation of more effective and long(er)-term plans / strategies / measures that address the intersectional needs of a particularly vulnerable group: LGBTQI+ migrants & refugees.
