The LoudnClear project aims to contribute to tackling hate speech online in Spain, Greece, Italy, Poland and Portugal, by proposing a targeted approach addressing the societal challenges of hate speech (online), through awareness raising campaigns and educational activities, in the field of primary education.

More specifically the project aims at:

1. adapting the SELMA Toolkit and/or other good practices for primary education
2. building the skills and capacities of primary school teachers/ educators on preventing, identifying, educating, and tackling online hate speech
3. building the skills and capacities of primary school administrators on planning and implementing whole school approaches for tackling online hate speech
4. enhancing the implementation of whole school action plans for the prevention and combatting of (online) hate speech
5. enhancing the understanding of primary school students about hate speech (online) and its consequences, and their awareness about their rights
6. increasing the awareness of the school community on the societal consequences of (online) hate speech, hatred and polarisation.

These objectives will be achieved through the implementation of the following main activities:

• Adaptation of SELMA Toolkit and/or other good practices to primary education needs
• Development of whole school audit and action planning platform, and capacity building of primary school administrators and educators
• Development and implementation of primary school action plans for the prevention and combatting of hate speech (online)
• Dissemination and awareness raising.
