Interfaith Safeguarding Sacred Spaces Action Day

Safeguarding Sacred Spaces: United for Faith, Safety and Respect

An interfaith journey across Athens to promote the protection of places of worship, strengthen mutual understanding, and reaffirm our shared responsibility for safe and inclusive communities To further strengthen interfaith cooperation and mutual understanding, the InterMu-Se coalition invites you to the 3rd Action Day, bringing together representatives of different religious communities, civil society organisations, educators and students. This action will raise awareness about protecting places of worship and show a shared commitment to safeguarding religious sites and ensuring the safety of believers.

Bringing together diverse faith communities to learn, reflect and engage in a joint activity, the action highlights the importance of protecting religious heritage, promoting mutual respect, and fostering a sense of shared responsibility for the safety of all places of worship. Together, we continue our shared actions for mutual understanding and solidarity, even in challenging time—turning dialogue into trust and common values into collective responsibility.
