On the 4th of February 2021, Symplexis participated in the online kick-off meeting of the Unique project, which was organized by the Coordinator, AKMI S.A.
During the half-day meeting, the partners had the chance to meet each other, introduce themselves and present their organizations. The consortium discussed the project management processes and tools, decided upon the frequency and the channels of communication, agreed on the appointment of a Quality Assurance Board and the establishment of a monitoring and feedback mechanism and elaborated the Dissemination and Exploitation Strategy.
Unique is a 24-months project, funded under Key Action 3 of the Erasmus+ Programme, which aims at reversing the perceptions towards LGBTIQ learners in VET Sector by introducing innovative and gender-sensitive training materials as well as educating VET teachers in safeguarding and promoting a non-discriminatory classroom.
The consortium consists of 9 partners coming from Greece, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Poland, Croatia, Bulgaria and Germany (AKMI S.A., Symplexis, GALE, KES College, IB Polska, Algebra, CGI Poreć, NAVETS and BK Consult).
