Read Lightcode’s Manifesto

Lightcode – Strengthening the digital transformation of higher education through low-code is a 3-year-duration Erasmus Plus project that aims to train faculty members in interdisciplinary approaches and innovative teaching methods and practices, including low-code teaching materials and platforms, forming a more open and innovative higher education system.

After extensive research, including questionnaires and focus groups, the LightCode consortium has published a report, which presents all the findings of the research, gathered from faculty members across the five partner countries — France, Greece, Croatia, Serbia, and Austria — regarding the implementation of low-code application development in higher education.

The LightCode Manifesto consists of a study for exploring the level of information and knowledge of the university community as well as other stakeholders about the potential of the low-code approach, while looking for gaps and needs that will be addressed through the development of digital skills using low-code for both faculty members and students.

All these findings provide valuable guidance for institutions, educators, and policymakers aiming to leverage low-code approaches to enhance teaching, research, and administrative processes.
