The M_Coach project intends to develop a training course for trainers/ coaches and their trainers (direct target group) aiming at identifying discriminatory behaviour expressed by athletes 16-21 years old. The project will develop the appropriate methodologies and tools for the direct target group so that they can promptly identify discriminatory behaviour (intolerance and non-acceptance) that may lead to marginalisation of their peers, while also introducing practices/activities and tasks related to the sport they practice aimed at addressing this kind of discriminatory behaviour.
To that end, the main objectives of M_Coach are:
- to combat violence and tackle racism, discrimination and intolerance in sport
- to equip trainers/ coaches and their trainers with the necessary tools and practices so as to effectively identify and address discriminatory behaviour in sport.
