Background
COVID crisis put educational systems around Europe to the test. It questioned their fundamentals of educational systems and forced governments to implement changes at an incredible pace. Switching from classroom to online classes has demonstrated how rigid most EU educational systems are (especially in terms of traditional teaching institutions), but it proven that the change to different teaching models is achievable, and crisis can be a driving force for development. Teachers were forced to switch to online methods without being prepared, it became clear that it’s not enough to rely only on self-guided online learning.
The project
The FLIPPING project aims to implement the innovative flipped learning model, specifically the flipped classroom approach, for VET learners and new workers. It involves shifting traditional homework activities to home, while learners engage with concepts in the classroom with mentor guidance. The project will develop materials for learners, teachers, and involved parents to enhance the training process.
