DIGI PATH (Promoting the integration of migrants at local level through digital skills) project is officially launched!
Symplexis is participating in this ERASMUS+ KA2 – Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education (1/11/2020 – 31/10/2022) project in a consortium of 6 partners from 4 European countries (Germany, Greece, Belgium, Cyprus).
DIGI PATH’s main objective
Digi-Path’s main objective is to foster the successful inclusion and participation of Third Country Nationals (TCNs) and their family members in the host EU country’s civic and social life. It aims to improve access to information and services so to increase TCNs’ well-being and inclusion in the hosting societies, overcoming barriers such as complicated bureaucracy.
This will be achieved through supplementary objectives that include:
- increasing the capacity of Public Administration Authorities & Experts at the local level in the participating countries to enable and facilitate the access of TCNs to a number of civic and other services (access to the labour market and relevant rights, professional guidance, family planning, available benefits, social insurance, registry etc) in the host countries and
- improving the availability, awareness and participation of TCNs in civic activities in their host communities.
DIGI PATH’s 1st meeting
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the first meeting of the project was held virtually. All partners had the opportunity to get to know each other and discuss thoroughly the next steps, ensuring a shared understanding of the project goals, deliverables and workflow.
